More than 1,400 Manchester Mega Mela revellers danced their way into the history books by joining The British Asian Trust and Rubicon in beating the world record for the biggest ever Bollywood Dance.

Abdul Can See the Colour of the World Again
Abdul Jabbar ignored his deteriorating eyesight until he became blind. He had no money for treatment. No longer able to work, Abdul became a burden on his elderly father. Then he discovered the Layton Rahmutalla Benevolent Trust (LRBT), a Trust charity partner
providing free eyecare in Pakistan. Surgery was performed at LRBT’s Rashidabad site. “I am so happy to see the colour of the world again,” he said when his bandage was removed. “LRBT is a great blessing.”

Children living on construction sites helped by Halcrow
