Farzana Sial: Education for All
Farzana Sial’s life has been marked by struggles, but that only fuels her determination to ensure that girls get an education in the isolated village in Sindh, Pakistan where she lives and teaches at a Developments in Literacy school. Despite deep resistance, Farzana succeeded in keeping her school open. Now the children aren’t the only ones learning how to read, she is teaching their mothers too.
